For the rebranding of the brand “Univercells” we were asked to make a brand manifesto video.
The Video

Brand Manifesto
We were given a library of footage that was collected over the years and it was our mission to take that footage and make a dynamic, smooth & convincing brand manifesto . With the help of the right stock footage, title design, music & voiceover we were able to deliver on that mission.
Title Animation
For the title animation we went for something very minimal that is easy to read since the tempo is pretty fast. We used masking techniques to make it appear that the text is in between the subject and the machine.
Transitions
Transitions are only effective if they are not obvious. Here for example we used the blue - green colors plus the direction of the movement of the bubbles to transition smoothly from real- life footage to stock footage.
Rhythm
Through match cuts we smoothly go from one tube to another one. At this point in the movie you can also hear the drums going the fastest so it made sense to have here an acceleration of the tempo.
Time remapping
Smoother transitions can also be done by using the “ time remapping” tool. It lets you speed up and slow down the clips just before transitioning.
